About the Role
We are searching for a motivated and strategic E-commerce & Supplier Partnerships Lead to drive the growth of our client's established B2B/B2C platform. This is an offshore role where you'll be a key player, focusing on expanding our network of high-end furniture and premium food suppliers and nurturing commercial partnerships.
You will manage the entire lifecycle of supplier relationships, from initial outreach and negotiation to ongoing operational support. This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive mindset to ensure a smooth flow of products and a premium experience for our customers.
What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities
Supplier Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Identify, source, and secure new suppliers by negotiating and finalizing supply and wholesale agreements.
- Manage the onboarding process for all new suppliers.
- Meticulously maintain and update product catalogs, including complex multi-tiered pricing structures.
Operational Excellence:
- Coordinate logistics and fulfillment to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
- Monitor day-to-day platform operations to guarantee a seamless customer experience and quickly resolve any issues.
Performance & Reporting:
- Track and analyze key business metrics such as profit margins, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), stock levels, and lead times.
- Prepare and present performance reports to management with clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
What We're Looking For: Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience:
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supplier management, preferably within an e-commerce or retail environment.
Skills:
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to confidently manage professional relationships via phone and email.
- Strong analytical skills with a talent for identifying trends and working with data.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations and proficiency in using spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) and CRM tools.
