About the Role
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the overall financial health of our organization. This pivotal role involves producing financial reports, directing investment activities, and developing strategic plans to achieve our long-term financial goals. You will be instrumental in financial planning, ensuring tax compliance, and collaborating across departments to meet our monetary objectives.

 

 

Objectives of This Role

  • Identify new metrics to drive business performance relative to strategic priorities while minimizing risk.
  • Drive value within the business through margin enhancement, lowering costs, and driving operational efficiencies.
  • Execute accurate reporting, enabling data-driven analysis and financial recommendations.
  • Provide insightful analysis into business performance against competitors and industry trends.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive financial management duties, including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends, and assessing the company's financial health.
  • Oversee the operations and development of the company’s finance departments, including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training, and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.
  • Supervise the preparation of quarterly and annual account reconciliations, monitor and enforce compliance with tax and financial reporting standards, and assist with cash flow forecasting.
  • Advise colleagues and executive management on decisions related to the company’s finances.
  • Supervise the documentation of the company’s financial status and forecasts.
  • Mediate between the organization, employees, stakeholders, shareholders, and investors on financial issues for an amicable resolution of differences.
  • Create strategic business plans based on analyzing the company’s current status and financial forecasts.
  • Manage multiple companies within the group, collaborating closely with the rest of the finance team.
  • Review government compliance and improve company policies to ensure all regulations are met.
  • Ensure the financial aspects of company contracts are enforced.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or any relevant course.
  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
  • Must have an in-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
  • Must have a strong accounting background.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Time-management abilities.
  • Team player.
