JOB SUMMARY
The Aircraft Maintenance Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be a key contributor in the development of high-quality learning materials focused on Aircraft Aviation & Maintenance. This role involves providing technical expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and helps develop high-quality training and content materials for aircraft maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge and the ability to translate technical concepts into informative resources.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing Expertise:
- Offer expert advice, guidance, and recommendations on matters related to Aircraft Maintenance.
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products, services, and processes related to their area of expertise.
- Regulatory Compliance - Ensure all training and content materials align with aviation regulatory requirements, such as CASA,FAA, EASA, or other relevant authorities.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product development, engineering, marketing) to provide subject matter expertise and support.
- Assist in the development of training materials, documentation, and knowledge resources.
- Contribute to the creation of presentations, and other materials for internal and external audiences.
- Problem Solving and Innovation:
- Identify and analyze challenges and opportunities related to their area of expertise.
- Develop and propose solutions to complex problems, leveraging their knowledge and experience.
- Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and approaches.
- Knowledge Sharing:
- Mentor and coach team members to enhance their understanding and skills in the specific area of expertise.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to disseminate knowledge and best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of proven experience on Aircraft Maintenance, or as a subject matter expert of the field.
- Possess Knowledge and Skills
- Deep understanding of Aircraft Maintenance, including relevant theories, concepts, and practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
